February update

Well I did a little rearranging of pictures. Be sure to check out the big one at the bottom of my page.

Paige had the stomach flu for about five days. Poor little girl! It looked like she lost half her weight. But, she's finally doing better now and her appetite is back. Rusty and I have been taking Paige and Sarah to the park and Paige just loves the slides. She decided to climb up to the big slide against our advice. She wouldn't go down the slide and she wouldn't climb back down the ladder either. I finally climbed up and sent her down the slide. She had that "oh, crap!" look when she got to the bottom where Rusty was waiting for her. She climbed right back up and still didn't want to go down, so this time Sarah had to take her down. That wasn't so bad as going alone.

Sarah finally got her toys back after the car starting incident. She is very glad to have them back. Sarah has found some friends in the neighborhood and loves to play with them any time she can. Sarah and Paige also love to go and visit Merna, mom and dad's friend up on the hill. Merna is baby hungry-yes even at age 60+. She loves to take care of babies. Sarah begged and begged to go visit Merna on Saturday. Sarah bought herself two baby dolls at a yard sale for $1 and was just dying to go show Merna. Goodness knows Sarah didn't need anymore babies, but it was her money and she is drawn to dolls like a moth to a flame.

Wyatt is Wyatt. He likes to get home from school as fast as possible to play the computer or x-box or basketball - anything but homework!! He hates it when I have to go somewhere after I pick him up from school. He begs to be taken home, even if he has to stay alone. This Friday Wyatt's school is having a "Manners Tea". They have to dress in their Sunday best. Wyatt is dreading it.

Josh is getting ready to register for 10th grade. Can you believe he is that old already? Next month he can get his learners permit. Time is flying by! I think he is finally starting to get a little taller. I haven't measured or anything but I can see he looks like he's bigger. I hope he gets a little height from my dad's genes, cause mine and mom's won't help him a bit.

Rusty is still getting a little better each day. He is hating to sleep with the neck brace on, but what can you do? His left arm is still weak. He says he can't wrestle around with Josh with that hand. I hope it eventually returns to normal.

My job has all but fizzled out. I think Spencer will end up going under. Things have gotten progressively worse for him. He is now the only laborer. Oh, well. I'm glad I'm not the one putting food on the table, just some condiments.

Well, take care and stop by again another time!
