cliff jumping at Sand Hollow

Josh, Wyatt and Kyle went cliff diving at Sand Hollow. A couple days later they talked me into taking them again. We also took Sarah, Paige, Kenzie and Aubrey. I didn't realize what a hike it was going to be! We wore our swimming suits, shorts, flip flops, etc. We should have had hiking boots! I finally took off my flip flops because it was easier to climb down the cliffs barefoot.

Josh, Wyatt and Aubrey had fun chasing fish with nets. They never did catch one.

Check out how high the cliffs are! When I saw how steep and dangerous it could be I was freaked out. The kids couldn't understand why I wouldn't let them go here again by themselves!

A storm started blowing in. By the time we got back to the Durango it was raining-thunder and lightning included!
Here is our "huge" beach. This is not the best place for little kids. The water is so deep. There was a teeny, tiny beach for Sarah and Paige to play on.
